Jeffrey L. West, age 73 years, of Warrens, Wisconsin and formerly of Elroy, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Serenity House in Tomah.
He was born on March 17, 1951 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the son of Oscar and Helen (Grilley) West. He grew to adulthood in the Elroy area and attended Royall High School.
Jeffery entered the U.S. Army in 1969, serving in the Vietnam War era and retired after 25 years of service as a Master Sergeant.
He had lived in Michigan for several years, where he married his wife, Natalie in 1984. In more recent years they decided to move back to Wisconsin to be near his family and located in the Warrens area.
Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going fishing, riding on his gator with his dog and NASCAR racing.
Survivors include his wife, Natalie West; step children, Tony (Kim) Branigan and Patricia Conforti; grandchildren, Kristen (Kevin) George, Marissa Conforti (Kyane), Ashley Conforti, David Branigan and Kevin Branigan; a Great Grandson, Benji; mother, Helen Walters; siblings, Jerry (Karen) West, Virginia (Dean) Preuss, Veronica (Bruce) Lange and Jim (Donna) West and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Elroy, with Pastor Jill Nowlen officiating, followed by military rites. A time of visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Picha Funeral Home in Elroy is assisting with arrangements.
