Judith A. Trebatoski, age 79 years, of Hillsboro and formerly of Portage, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025 at her residence in Hillsboro.

She was born on December 6, 1945 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Homer and Beulah (Boldon) Johnson.  Judy graduated from the Hillsboro High School in 1964.

Judy was united in marriage to Anthony Trebatoski on October 15, 1967 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.

They had lived in Portage for many years and recently moved back to Hillsboro.  Judy worked as a CNA at the Lodi Good Samaritan Nursing Home and prior to that she was a caretaker for her grandmother, Martha Boldon and her mother, Beulah Johnson in her home.

Tony and Judy were founders of the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Portage.  They devoted their life to this Church and served on various boards and Judy served with the Ladies Aide. She took pride in all the meals and baked goods she prepared and planned for church potlucks. She shared her love and faith of Jesus with all she knew.

In her spare time, she loved to spend time with her family, especially with Sierra, David, and “Bucky” (her home away from home black lab). She was known as “Popo” from her close family and friends. She spoiled her family with her love, treats, shopping trips, Brewer games, and especially during Christmas. Her new love was going on gator rides and looking for deer in the countryside. She was an avid Hillsboro Tiger, Packer, Brewer, Badger, Bucks and Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes fan.

For many years you could find her and Tony at Club 23 in Wisconsin Dells every Friday night. That was her favorite hang-out place besides vacationing in northern Wisconsin annually. She enjoyed fishing off the dock, drinking her coffee by the lake (or anywhere), and going to town to shop. She also had a love for her cats, too many to mention.

Judy also looked forward to her family reunions. She loved to spend time with her cousins. Deer hunting was also very special to her. In her earlier years she hunted with Tony, her brother Ed, family members, and friends. She always wanted to know how the hunt went.

Survivors include her husband, Tony; nephew, R J (Lisa) Johnson; great niece, Sierra Johnson, great nephew, David Johnson, lifelong friend Suzie Mashak, and among many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Eric John Trebatoski; her parents, Homer and Beulah; a brother, Edward Johnson; her grandmothers Martha Boldon and Myra Chlup. among many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
