HILLSBORO - Leona E. Jahncke, age 94 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Milestone Senior Living in Hillsboro.
She was born on August 21, 1927 to Walter and Minnie (Sahr) Laabs in Milwaukee.
Leona was united in marriage to Arthur Jahncke on September 11, 1948 in Milwaukee.
They lived for several years in Milwaukee, later moving to Kendall and for the past six years in Hillsboro. Arthur preceded her in death on October 12, 2016.
Survivors include her sons, David (Patricia) Jahncke and Michael (April) Jahncke; grandchildren, Aaron (Barbara) Jahncke, Emily (Jeremy) Ewoldt and Jimi Morris; great grandchildren, Audrey Ewoldt, Ethan Ewoldt, Oliver Jahncke, Evelyn Jahncke and Amanda Morris; a special niece, Barbara Ramstad; a special nephew, James (Jan) Hamala; a great nephew, Taylor and other relatives and friends.
