Linda K. Rosko, age 79 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 31, 1945 in Vernon County, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Orsburne) Fanta of Dilly, WI. Linda graduated from the Hillsboro High School in 1963.
Linda was united in marriage to Merlyn Huebel on December 21, 1971 and they lived in Wonewoc for many years until his passing on February 7, 2006.
She worked for a short time at the Hillsboro Canning Factory and Ray-O-Vac in Wonewoc, before she provided in-home day-care services, which she enjoyed for over 35 years.
Linda married Geno Rosko on August 19, 2011 and they enjoyed their lives together for 14 years.
She liked to go shopping and thrifting, decorating her house and raising a flower garden. She enjoyed family gatherings and campfires.
Survivors include her husband, Geno; son, Shane (Colleen Beier) Huebel; step daughters, Jodi (Gary) Herfendal and Heidi Beckel; grandchildren, Mason Huebel, Mercedes (Torsten) Alexandersen and Hannah Beckel; brother, Ronald Fanta and sister, Mary Lou Filter.
In addition to her first husband, Merlyn, she was preceded in death by her Parents and siblings, Betty Douglass, Robert Fanta, Ernest “Dick” Fanta, Shirley Husom, Barbara Hatfield, Karen Minett and Cheryl Fanta.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wonewoc, with Rev. Jacob Limpert officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. A time of visitation will be at the Church on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
