Hillsboro - Margaret Marie Clark, age 82 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 25, 1941 in Ontario, Wisconsin, to Herman and Violet (Green) Stoikes. She attended Ontario Grade School and High School.

Margaret married her high school sweetheart, Bobby Clark. They were united in marriage on September 3, 1960 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cashton. Margaret and Bobby lived in La Crosse for a year, then moved to the farm near Yuba, Wisconsin where they have resided since 1961. This is where they raised their five children.

Margaret worked at Hillsboro Footwear after her children were grown for a few years before they closed.

Margaret and Bobby enjoyed traveling out west and snowmobiling in the winter. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and baking her delicious homemade pies and crescent rolls. Margaret looked forward to spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Bobby Clark; sons, Kevin Clark and James (Carla) Clark, all of Hillsboro; daughters, Teresa Clark of Verona and Karen (Tom) Lacy of Fitchburg; 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Kathy) Stoikes of Norwalk; sisters, Clara Laufenberg of Sparta and Carole (Carson) Hatfield of Viola; brothers-in-law, Mahlen Clark of Norwalk and Ivan Clark of La Crosse; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Herman Stoikes; mother, Violet Berendes; step-father, Antone “Manny” Berendes; sisters, Marilyn Benish and Rosella Clark; her son, Michael Clark; granddaughter, Cassandra Clark; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law.

The family of Margaret Clark would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for their support and compassionate care.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Rev. Alan Tripp officiating.
