HILLSBORO - Marjorie H. Kahler, age 96 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Milestone Senior Living in Hillsboro.

She was born on November 1, 1924 to Elmer and Anna (Landsinger) Henderson in the Town of Woodland, Sauk County. Marjorie was united in marriage to Raymond C. Kahler on October 26, 1944 in Hillsboro.

They farmed and lived in the Hillsboro area all of their lives. Raymond preceded her in death on January 30, 1984.

Marjorie was a hard worker all of her life, she worked at Badger Ordinance at Baraboo, Ray O Vac in Wonewoc and at the Sewing Factory in Hillsboro.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro and the Ladies Aide, Homemaker’s Club, and enjoyed fishing, sewing, knitting. She was also very active playing cards and enjoyed the euchre and bridge clubs.

Survivors include her daughters, Kay (Charles) Stanek and Karyl Benish; grandchildren, Kyle Benish, Tyler Benish, Wendy Stone Koca, Zackery Banta and Shane Banta; great grandchildren, Bradley Minett, Wilson Benish, Vaida Benish and Bryant Stone and sisters, Evelyn Judd and Emma Corn.

In addition to her husband, Raymond; she was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Kahler; granddaughter, Kerri Minett; brothers, Harley, Ronald and Kenneth Henderson and sister, Lucille Bruha.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro, with Rev. Conrad Prell officiating.
