WONEWOC - Sharon K. Coleman, age 77 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Bethel Home in Viroqua.
She was born on December 6, 1943 to Melvin and Erma (Downing) Burch and grew to adulthood in the Hillsboro area and graduated from the Hillsboro High School. Sharon also served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Sharon was united in marriage to Norman “Butch” Coleman on May 8, 1976.
She worked in area nursing homes for several years and the operated Lee’s Café in Wonewoc for a few years. Sharon enjoyed crocheting, camping, fishing and playing cards. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wonewoc.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Sue Kuehl; grandchildren, Melissa Aird (fiancée – Amanda), Jonathon (Ramona) Nelson and Kyrstin Kessler (fiancé – Ryan); great grandchildren, Summer, Grace, Joseph, Takoda, Julius, Natalie, Sophia, Arabella, Trace, Kendall, Jaelyn, Carter and Blakely; siblings, Lola (Dale) Parker, Marilyn Roaden, Margaret Hogan, Rebecca Peterson, Sheila (Scott) Garver, Deborah Burch, Linda (Lonnie) Kutina and Ardene (Jody) Wirts; and sisters-in-law, Gail Burch, Brenda Burch and Rose Tydrich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Butch on February 2, 2018; daughter, Tammy on April 15, 2005; son, David on November 12, 2019; great granddaughter, Jordana and brothers, Eldon Nofsinger, James Burch, John Burch, Jerry Burch and Melvyn Burch.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home – 402 Center Street, Wonewoc, WI, with Terry Towne officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery at a later date.
