WONEWOC - Virginia A. Bell age 76 years of Wonewoc, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at her home.

She was born on August 18, 1945 to Franklin and Bernice (George) Bell.

Virginia graduated from Wonewoc-Center High School. She then attended Prospect Hall Secretarial School in Milwaukee.

Virginia (Ginny), along with her twin sister, Susan lived and worked in the Arlington Virginia area. Virginia worked for the Foreign Service office and then for many years in the United States State Department. Ginny and Susan cared for their mother, Bernice for many years in their home in Arlington.

After they retired, they came back to Wonewoc to visit every Summer with their friends of many years. They then decided to move back to Wonewoc, into their childhood home.

Virginia and Susan enjoyed reading and using the computers at the Wonewoc Public Library. They also enjoyed their friends at the Kwik Trip in Union Center and the Fastrip in Wonewoc. They were avid readers of the newspaper every day.

After Susan passed away, Ginny loved going for walks around the neighborhood and enjoying her visits with many of her neighbors.   Ginny also loved to listen to Elvis music, her favorite song was “All Shook Up.” When at home she loved watching the many birds either outside by her back door or from her kitchen table while she ate.

Virginia is survived by her brother, Frank Lyn (Carol) Bell.   She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Susan J. Bell, her Mother and Father, and her brother, Richard Bell.

Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc, with a time of visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Pine Eden Cemetery in Wonewoc.
