Arnold Subera, 74, of Hillsboro, passed away July 30, 2024.
He was born October 18, 1949 to Rudolph and Ardith (Marshall) Subera in Hillsboro. He graduated from Hillsboro High School. Shortly after graduating he enlisted in the Army, where he served in Vietnam. He worked for the Township of Hillsboro for a short time and then discovered his love of the open road; driving semi-truck for Fawcett and then Heding.
Arnold enjoyed hunting and antiquing. He was a social person and loved sharing stories with his many friends.
He is survived by a brother James (Irene) Subera, his sister Lois Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Dennis and Thomas, brother-in-law Jerald Johnson, and a great-niece Mariah Barron.
Funeral Services will be Monday, August 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Picha Funeral Home of Hillsboro. Tom Hotek officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial with military honors will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery.
