Bernice M. Bronk, age 63 years, of rural Elroy, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at her home.
She was born on November 21, 1960 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Dale “Pete” and Ledema “Yvonne” (Nofsinger) Scott Sr. Bernice graduated from the Royall High School.
Bernice was united in marriage to Darryl Bronk on March 31, 1979 in Wonewoc.
She had worked at Brunners in Mauston for several years and then for 17 years operated Bernie’s Wagon Wheel in Wonewoc, where she served countless meals to many customers over those years. Bernie was very active in the Juneau County Tavern League. She also enjoyed puzzles, cross stitch and sewing.
Survivors include her husband, Darryl Bronk; children, Benjamin Bronk, Rachel (Tyson) Schuette and Derrick (Autumn) Bronk; grandchildren, Dylan, Aryanah, Brandyn, Sydnee, Ethan and Aiden; and siblings, Sandra (Charles) Lamb, Beryl (Joe) Landsinger and Dale (Marla) Scott Jr.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and a granddaughter, Payten.
A celebration of Bernie’s life will take place with a gathering on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Wonewoc.
