June J. Fessey, age 77 years, of rural Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born on March 5, 1946 to Malcolm and Elizabeth (Rawhouser) Clark in Juneau County, Wisconsin and graduated from the Mauston High School.
June was united in marriage to Alden Fessey on April 15, 1967 in Mauston. They farmed in the Town of Summit for many years.
June liked taking care of the baby animals on the farm, especially the baby pigs. She also enjoyed taking care of her dogs on the farm and watching the birds. She had helped working at the Summit Restaurant. She was a member of the Summit Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club.
Survivors include her husband, Alden Fessey; son, Joseph (Kelly) Fessey; daughter, Rita Fessey; grandchildren, Aiden, Shawn and Keegan; sister, Sharon Ives and brother, James Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Clara Clark and brother, Robert Clark.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by a service at 12 noon, all at the Chapparal Restaurant, S320 State Road 33, Wonewoc. Burial will be in the Potters Cemetery, Town of Summit.
