Marjorie M. “Marge” Hams, age 89 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Hamilton Park Place in Portage, Wisconsin.
She was born on November 22, 1934, the daughter of John and Matilda (Hippler) Blank Sr.
Marjorie was united in marriage to Glaris Hams on September 10, 1952 at the United Methodist Church in Elroy.
Marge helped Glaris in their milk hauling business for many years. She also had a real estate license and was a driver delivering packages for Purolator.
They enjoyed traveling and Marge enjoyed playing at casinos, meat raffles, weekly/monthly drawings and bingo. Her favorite color was yellow. You may remember her wearing yellow quite often.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Nelson) Meier; son, Jeffery Hams; grandchildren, Amy Buchholz and Andy Popp; eight Great Grandchildren and brother, Robert (Vivian) Blank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glaris on February 20, 2013; parents, John and Tillie; brothers, John Blank Jr and an infant, Donald Blank and sisters, Beverly Hubele and Nancy Degner.
A private family gathering with interment will be held at the Elroy City Cemetery at a later date.
